Our standard
Moorhood has zero tolerance for child sexual abuse and exploitation (CSAE) and child sexual abuse material (CSAM). Members must not create, upload, share, request, promote or facilitate content or behaviour that sexually exploits, abuses or endangers a child.
This prohibition applies to posts, profiles, photographs, voice notes, private messages, listings, events and every other part of Moorhood.
Reporting a concern
Members can report a post, listing, message or profile from inside the Moorhood app. Reports are sent confidentially to the Moorhood admin team for review. Members can also block another member to prevent further contact.
For a child-safety concern, email support@moorhood.co.uk with the member or content involved and any useful context. Do not download, copy or forward suspected illegal material. If a child is in immediate danger in the UK, call 999.
How we respond
When Moorhood becomes aware of suspected CSAE or CSAM, we review the report promptly, preserve information only where lawful and necessary, and take appropriate action. This may include removing content, restricting or permanently closing accounts, preventing further contact and retaining relevant audit records.
Confirmed CSAM is reported, as applicable, to the National Center for Missing & Exploited Children (NCMEC) or the relevant regional authority, such as the UK National Crime Agency or CEOP, in accordance with applicable law. We cooperate with lawful requests from law-enforcement and child-protection bodies.
Adult community
Moorhood is intended only for people aged 18 or over. This age restriction does not reduce our responsibility to prevent, detect and act on child sexual abuse and exploitation wherever it may affect the service or its members.
Child-safety contact
Google Play, law-enforcement bodies, child-protection organisations and members may contact Moorhood about our child-safety practices at support@moorhood.co.uk.
